Bybit shows the P&L. It doesn't show the tilt.
Bybit gives you a clean P&L and an order-history export. What the export can't tell you is that a single tilted session — three revenge entries after a liquidation — undoes a whole week of patient trading, or that your funding-fee drift is quietly costing you on positions you hold too long. PnL Book is a trading journal built for that gap: it turns your Bybit fills into round-trip trades, lets you tag the mistakes, and totals what each habit costs you in dollars.
Most journals die from data entry, so getting your Bybit trades in is the part we've made almost free: the order-history CSV from Bybit's Data Export, or an AI that reads a screenshot of your order-history screen when you don't want to wait for the export. Derivatives and spot both parse; we validate the CSV parser against real Bybit exports, and screenshot import is the fallback.
Two ways to get your Bybit trades in
Bybit order history — CSV. Bybit's own order-history export from the Data Export area — your executions in one CSV.
- In Bybit, go to Profile → Account → Data Export (or open Orders → Trade History and click Export).
- Choose Order History as the data type and a time range (up to 12 months), then start the export.
- When it's ready, download and unzip the file, then in PnL Book go to Import → Bybit (CSV) and upload the CSV.
- Review the parsed rows and commit — fills are paired into round-trip trades and duplicates are skipped.
AI screenshot import. A screenshot of your Bybit order-history or positions screen becomes journal entries in seconds — the fastest path when you don't want to wait for an export.
- Take a screenshot of your closed-trades, positions or orders screen — keep the whole table visible, no popups over the numbers.
- In PnL Book, choose Import → Screenshot — any broker or platform and upload up to 5 images (PNG/JPG). AI reads the symbols, sizes, prices and timestamps.
- Every parsed row lands in a review queue first — anything the AI wasn't sure about is highlighted and duplicates are flagged. Nothing is saved until you commit.
Then price the mistakes
Importing is the boring half. Once your Bybit trades are in, tag the ones that broke your plan — revenge trade, over-leveraged, chased a move, held a loser — and PnL Book totals the dollar cost of each habit per month. Revenge trading: −$2,600 this month is a number you can break the loop on. If tilt is the leak, start with revenge trading in crypto, and see how funding costs stack up in crypto funding rates explained.
Frequently asked questions
How do I export my Bybit trade history?
Go to Profile → Account → Data Export, choose Order History and a time range, then start the export. Bybit prepares Order History as a CSV inside a zip — larger exports can take a day or two to generate (per Bybit's help centre, checked July 2026 — estimate). Unzip it and upload the CSV in PnL Book under Import → Bybit (CSV).
Why is the Bybit export a zip file, and how long does it take?
Bybit delivers Order History as a compressed CSV, and large ranges are processed in the background, so the file can take roughly one to three days depending on size (per Bybit's help centre, July 2026 — estimate). Unzip it first, then upload the CSV. For a few recent trades, screenshot import is instant.
Does the Bybit import handle perpetual and spot trades?
Yes. Bybit derivatives and spot fills both appear in the order-history export, and PnL Book pairs them into round-trip trades so leverage and average loss measure whole decisions. We validate the parser against real Bybit exports; screenshot import is the fallback.
Will PnL Book give me Bybit trade signals?
No. PnL Book analyzes your own past Bybit trades — it prices your mistakes in $ and shows your patterns. No signals, tips or price predictions, and no affiliation with Bybit.
