Every feature, in the numbers that make it real

Anyone can claim “AI-powered analytics.” Below is what PnL Book actually does, with the thresholds, sources and formulas behind each claim — pulled straight from the product, not the marketing.

Paper gradually folded into a notebook, illustrating a repeatable process.

A trading journal that pairs fills into trades, not rows into a spreadsheet

PnL Book pairs your buys and sells FIFO into round-trip trades — including fills that cross zero and one execution split across two trades — so every stat measures a decision.

Every account you trade, one import screen

Import supported broker files or map CSV and Excel columns yourself. Automatic header suggestions, worksheet preview, date formats and a review before saving.

A screenshot of your P&L becomes journal entries

Review AI-extracted rows from up to 5 Indian broker screenshots. Check prices, quantities and dates before committing trades to your journal.

Win rate, expectancy and profit factor — sliced by setup, mistake, symbol and expiry

PnL Book computes win rate, expectancy, profit factor, average win/loss and max drawdown — then breaks each down by setup, mistake tag, symbol and options expiry (DTE).

Your trading year, as a calendar

A month-by-month heatmap tints every trading day by net P&L — darker green for a bigger win, darker red for a bigger loss — click any day to see the trades behind it.

Tag your mistakes; three of them tag themselves

Tag trades FOMO entry, revenge trade, moved stop-loss and more — and PnL Book auto-flags loss streaks (3+ losers), revenge entries (under 10 minutes, 1.5× size) and overtrading (2× your daily average) on its own.

A coach letter every Monday, built from your own week

PnL Book's AI reads your Monday–Sunday trades and writes a weekly review — and if last week was empty, it widens to your most recent trades so your first letter is never a dead end.

Net P&L that actually nets out what you paid

Brokerage, STT, exchange transaction charge, GST, SEBI fee, stamp duty and IPFT — computed per trade for intraday and delivery, with a full per-component breakdown.

Frequently asked questions

How many brokers, exchanges and platforms does PnL Book support?

Indian broker adapters, MetaTrader statements and generic CSV/Excel mapping are available. cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker require explicit field mapping while their native CSV adapters are paused. Crypto file adapters are beta with format limits. Forex and crypto API sync, screenshots and manual fills are currently unavailable; check the broker-import availability table before choosing a format.

Does PnL Book give trading tips, signals or price predictions?

No. Every feature here analyzes trades you already made. PnL Book never recommends a trade, predicts a price or provides investment advice, and it is not affiliated with any broker, exchange or prop firm.

Is there a free plan?

Yes — 20 trades a month, no card required. The 14-day ₹0 trial includes unlimited trades and the weekly coach, with nothing charged until the trial ends. Screenshot import is available for Indian-market accounts only; market and import limits still apply.

Start with a supported broker file or mapped CSV/Excel report. Screenshots are available for Indian-market accounts only. Check the import availability table for international closed-position formats, beta adapters and accounting limits.
