PnL Book is a record-keeping and analytics tool for your own past trades. This page states plainly what the Service is — and, more importantly, what it is not.

1. Not an investment adviser or research analyst

PnL Book is a software tool operated by Quantmhill IT Services and Consultancy Private Limited. Neither the Service nor Quantmhill IT Services and Consultancy Private Limited is a SEBI-registered investment adviser, research analyst, portfolio manager or stock broker, and nothing in the Service — dashboards, analytics, AI-written reviews, blog posts or emails — constitutes investment advice, a research report or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or derivative.

2. No tips, signals or profit promises

PnL Book does not provide trade calls, tips, signals, target prices or strategies to follow, and it makes no claim, express or implied, that using the Service will make your trading profitable. Every number the Service shows — win rate, expectancy, the ₹ cost of a tagged mistake — is a description of trades you have already taken, not a prediction about trades you might take.

3. AI-generated analysis

Weekly reviews and screenshot imports are produced with the help of AI. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Reviews summarise your own journal data and must not be read as advice; imported rows are placed in a review queue precisely so that you confirm them before anything is saved.

4. Data accuracy

Trades enter PnL Book from broker screenshots, files and APIs, and any of these can carry errors — a misread digit, a broker-side omission, a duplicate fill. Figures such as P&L, charges and taxes are computed from imported data and may differ from your broker's books. Your broker's contract notes and statements are the authoritative record of your trades; verify against them before relying on any figure, especially for tax or compliance purposes.

5. Past performance

The Service analyses historical trades. Past performance — yours or anyone else's — is not indicative of future results. A pattern in last month's journal is not a forecast for next month's market.

6. Market risk

Trading in securities and derivatives involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. SEBI's own studies have found that roughly 9 in 10 individual F&O traders lose money. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes; consider consulting a SEBI-registered investment adviser before trading.

7. Third parties

PnL Book is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NSE, BSE, SEBI or any broker (including Zerodha, Groww, Upstox, Angel One, Fyers and Dhan). Broker and product names are trademarks of their respective owners and appear only to identify import sources and comparisons.

8. Relationship to the Terms

This disclaimer supplements our Terms & Conditions, which govern your use of the Service. Questions go to support@pnlbook.com or our Contact page.
