Frequently asked questions

What charges are included?

Brokerage plus every statutory charge: Securities Transaction Tax (STT), exchange transaction charge (incl. IPFT), SEBI turnover fee, stamp duty and 18% GST — the same components your broker's contract note lists.

Why is delivery so much costlier than intraday?

Equity delivery pays STT of 0.1% on BOTH the buy and sell legs (intraday is 0.025% on the sell only) and a higher 0.015% stamp duty on the buy, so total charges are far higher even when brokerage is zero.

Are these the exact charges I'll pay?

These are estimates using the calculator's rate tables. Broker plans, rounding, waivers and additional account or depository fees can differ. Confirm current rates with your broker and reconcile against your contract note.
